Asarnha Bucha Day
Asarnha Bucha day is one of the greatest religious holiday for Buddhists. It falls on the full moon day of the eighth lunar moon. On this day that the Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon, Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta, after the enlightenment to his five ascetics, Pancavaggi, who was first Buddhist saint, was the first group to listen sermon in the Deer Park near Varanasi, India.
